Frank Smith Toyota was founded by its namesake in Elsa, Texas in June of 1966, and is one of the oldest Toyota dealerships in the state of Texas. Initially, the dealership consisted of one Toyota sign, two employees, and a four car inventory that was a sideline to his Sinclair Service Station.

In 1970, the dealership relocated to McAllen, Texas at 116 South "E" Street, a location that housed the dealership for approximately twenty years. Today, the facility is occupied by our state-of-the-art auto body repair facility, Frank Smith Collision Services. The Hyundai franchises was added in 1989 respectively.

In September of 1990, the main dealership operation was relocated to 304 S. 2nd St. in Mcallen Texas now the Frank Smith Organization relocated it's operation in 2008 to it's present location of 1625 W. Expressway in Pharr Texas. Today, Frank Smith Toyota employs 125 people and has approximately 600 new and used cars in our inventory.
